This is Lia Slone.
Late Saturday night I asked her if I may court her.
Late Monday night she said “yes”!
The entire story spans eight months on my side of life and is filled with more amazing things than I care to share right now. Let is suffice to say that I am going to be insufferably happy for the foreseeable future.
Edit 9:44a: For those not familiar with how my church does things, I may need to define “courting”. Imagine a string tied around her finger with a tag that says “this space reserved by Phil.”
It basically means that I am committed to taking this relationship all the way. Neither I nor she will not be backing out because somebody else catches our eye or because we have a fight about something.
