Is it a bad thing if your very first cheesecake ever (and its twin brother) come out looking like Chicago-style deep-dish pizza?
My brother let me know about a restaurant out in Grand Junction with a “challenge” meal – a burrito made with naga jolokia peppers.

The “fusion” aspect was kind of interesting – I had a kimchee ramen that was pretty decent – but there were some places it really needs to improve:

I went to an early Thanksgiving dinner last night and brought a heaping helping of Alton Brown’s sweet cornbread pudding. I got a really nice compliment on it. I was told that “It tastes like Thanksgiving!”.
